Public Safety:

  • Neighborhood Watch:
The Jenks Police Department is currently engaged in developing Neighborhood Watch organizations to help curb the occurrence of crime throughout the city limits of Jenks. The program consists of forming a group within, usually housing additions, that are trained to be aware of conditions that maybe indicative of crimes in progress and the proper way to work together as a group and document and alert the police of the activity. The program also attempts to help residents to take measures that would make their homes more unattractive to criminals.
  • Business Watch:
Business Watch is a program that the Jenks Police Department is developing to assist businesses in detecting crimes in progress and deterring crime. The program will emphasize measures that can be taken by individual businesses that would help to make them more crime resistant and what to do if they become a victim of crime.
