The staff of the Jenks Police Department Communications Division often serves as an individual’s first point of contact with the Police Department, either through 911 emergency telephone calls at times of extreme stress or through routine telephone calls.
The Jenks Police Department patrol officers who respond to incidents every day and conduct preliminary investigations are highly trained professionals who are normally fully capable of conducting the appropriate follow-up investigations of the majority of the incidents they encounter.
Our Patrol Division Officers, from the Chief of Police to Police Officer, are trained to provide a high visibility police presence and 24/7 police service to the community. These are the officers you see on a daily basis on the streets of our community.
The Support Division is comprised of five distinct units: Animal Control, Communications, Jail, and Records. Each of these units provides an integral role in providing our citizens with high quality police services.
