Requirements
Residential Building Permit Applications must include:
- A completed subcontractor list on page 2 of the permit
- If applicable a copy of general liability and workers' compensation insurance
- If applicable, Tulsa County Health Department soil percolation test results for the proposed septic system
- Legal description of the property
- One set of 11 by 17 construction plans, including Site Plan and Foundation Plan (with Post-tension slab specifications if applicable)
Permit Issuance
Permits will normally be ready for issuance within 3 business days for residential development. This timetable is subject to increase without notice according to a number of factors, which may include:
- Necessitation of interaction with other departments or agencies
- Project Size
- Seasonal workload
- Unusual zoning issues
