I have owned a business on the second floor of elm street market since 2017. There have been countless wrecks in front of kum & go, Starbucks, and now dutch bros. People speed and there are way too many entrances and exits to check and a hill to block vision. It's always the same thing, someone trying to turn across traffic instead of using the traffic lights near by. When I leave work, if I need to go south, I never take the side street that goes to veterans park to turn left onto elm. I know I have a high chance of being t-boned. Instead I go to beaver street to turn at the light. If I leave reasors and need to go north on elm, I never come out at 101st pl to turn. I go to the light at the creek and elm. Unfortunately, not everyone thinks to do that. If there was a concrete median or some blockade to defer drivers from turning across traffic from 101st st to main, I think it would cut down on the wrecks. Same idea should be looked at on main west of elm in front of McDonalds.
