1. Where is the Jail for the City of Jenks located?

The Jail facility is located in the City Hall building located at:

2. How can I find out if someone is in jail?

Call the Jenks Jail at 918-299-6311 option 0.

3. My relative got arrested, who do I talk to?

If the relative has an attorney, you may contact the attorney. Otherwise, Jail or Court staff members may provide public information, such as upcoming court dates and how to post bond.

4. What have I been charged with?

The citation provided to you will specify the charge.

5. Can I get out of jail if served with a bench warrant?

Yes, if you post a bond. Otherwise, you can be seen before the Judge at the next arraignment.

6. Do I have an active warrant?

You may contact the Court Clerk’s Office between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at 918-556-7409 to find out if you have a Jenks Municipal Warrant.

7. What happens if I go to jail?

You will be held until a bond is posted or arraigned before the Judge. In some cases you may be released on your own recognizance; also known as a recognizance bond. If it is an alcohol-related charge you will be held for at least 6 hours to assure your sobriety.

8. What is a recognizance bond?

You sign a bond form saying you will appear for court and follow any and all conditions until your court date.

9. What is a surety bond?

A surety bond can come from a bondsman, a property with clear title, and/or friends or relatives who will make sure you will appear for court.

10. Can I use my credit/debit card to post bail?

Yes, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

11. What if I am in jail outside of Jenks and have a court date?

You need to alert the Court Clerk that you are being held in another facility and secure a new court date.
