Main Street Ribbon Cutting

Feb 18, 2019
On Friday, February 15, 2019, the City of Jenks and Tulsa County held a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the transportation improvement project to widen Main Street from Elm Street to State Highway 75.

This long-anticipated project to expand the roadway from a two-lane to a four-lane road is complete. Additionally, the project includes improvements to intersections, merging, connecting roadways, drainage systems and signage.

The Main Street widening project is funded by City of Jenks general obligation bonds in partnership with additional investment from Tulsa County "Four-to-fix the County" funds and Federal Highway Transportation funds.

We want to thank Lt. Governor of Oklahoma, Matt Pinnell,  Dr. Josh Wedman - Mayor of Jenks - Councilman Ward 4 , Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith’s office,  and Jenks Chamber of Commerce President Josh Driskell for attending and saying a few words to recognize the significance of this project.
